Was a pleasure to install phase 1 of Twelve Trees Care Home refurbishment & fitout yesterday, in Sheffield. This home has both classic high ceilings with beautiful cornice and period features, along with a modern extension and conservatory. The hair salon was previously an unused bathroom, which we converted into a modern salon with hair wash sink, styling unit and nail bar. A dark and unused space next to the main lounge was transformed into a central library area, where residents can now relax with a good book and a cuppa. We have so far refurbished the ground floor main lounge, dining room with servery, corridors with reception area, conservatory, library and hair salon. We look forward to Phase 2 in…

We are delighted to be engaged by Medina Ltd for the full interior design & project management of their next two large high spec, newbuild care homes in Long Eaton and Stapleford. Our design work for Medina's recently completed Wilford View care home has had glowing reviews! "We appointed Hiedi as our interior designer for our new 83 bed care home, which opened in November 2019. Immediately after appointing Hiedi, it became apparent that Hiedi has incredible attention to detail, individual flair and a clear understanding of the requirements of our potential residents. Hiedi was always on hand to discuss our ideas, so we were always engaged in the design process. In addition, we were impressed by Hiedi's "can do…

This care home specialises in Dementia care and our brief was to create a bright, warm & welcoming feel to this floor, whilst being 100% dementia friendly. This included Corridors, Lounge, Dining Room, Sensory Room, Tea Room and Music Area. The existing Corridors had limited natural light, due to being an internal 360 degree loop. We wanted to uplift these and create a bright & welcoming set of unique areas, where residents could identify their rooms more easily and create additional seating zones for family & friends. Each individual corridor now has a different feel, with a "Conservatory" area, a "High Street" area and an unused Nurse Station transformed into a "Music Area". We included every design aspect from initial room…
