Interior design underway for flagship new build care facility in Blackburn

Hiedi Lazenby Design was asked by Verum Victum Healthcare to be interior designer on this unique project.
The building incorporates 109 beds, including 50 extra care apartments, 24 dementia care apartments & 35 intermediate care en-suite bedrooms. The site was previously home to Albion Mill, an iconic landmark on the Blackburn skyline.
We have included in the interior design features which refer to this building and Blackburn as an area. Communal rooms include TV Lounges, Mezzanine Library/coffee area, Hair Salon, Café, English Tea Room and a large open plan Reception.
Bardsley construction are the main contractor and Candy Lofthouse are the Architects. The project is due to complete early 2020.
